MDP (Methyl Diisopropyl Propionamide)

MDP (Methyl Diisopropyl Propionamide) is a partial agonist (activator) of the TRPM8 receptor, also known as the cold and menthol receptor.   Causes activation of the TRPM8 receptor in the skin and lungs producing a cooling and analgesic response. Used as a fragrance ingredient and masking agent.

Not much information is known about this ingredient, and it’s safety has not been assessed.
