Hydrogenated Polydecene

Hydrogenated Polydecene is an end-product of the controlled hydrogenation of Polydecene (q.v.). Polydecenes are emollients that produce a silky and smooth feeling.  Used as a skin-conditioning agent, a fragrance agent, hair conditioning agent and emoilient.

Suspected ecotoxin, classified as toxicant.  Listed as a medium health priority outside the U.S.
